For the Love of Monarchs - Ask an Expert Night

In celebration of February’s Pollinator Month, the Pismo Beach Stewardship and Educational Outreach Program has partnered with the Central Coast State Parks Association to host an engaging evening dedicated to monarch conservation. 

Join us at Sans Liege Wines in Pismo Beach at 6 PM on February 11th, 2025 for an “Ask an Expert” night. Leading SLO CAL experts in monarch conservation, Crystal Crimbchin and Jessica Griffiths, will discuss the current state of monarch populations, the efforts of local and national groups in their preservation, and how the community can play a role in their protection.

With growing curiosity about the monarchs in the grove, both organizations created this event to provide the community with clarity, insights, and expert knowledge on the efforts being made to protect these iconic pollinators.

What to Expect

• Q&A Panel & Open Discussion – Ask questions and gain expert insights.

• Casual Mingling – Connect with fellow conservation advocates.

• Support Local – The venue has been generously donated by Sans Liege Wines, so guests are encouraged to support their business during the event.

About the Central Coast State Parks Association

The Central Coast State Parks Association (CCSPA) is dedicated to supporting education, conservation, and interpretation efforts within California’s State Parks. CSPA’s primary purpose is to raise funds for educational and interpretive programs within our local State Parks.

Join us for this Wine Club Exclusive Tasting at our Pismo Beach location.

Our annual 'Online Library Event' begins on Friday 1/24, but attend this special preview night on Thursday 1/23, to get a sneak peek of which will be available online plus enjoy a library tasting flight of 6 wines.

Your Ticket Fee will be applied to any library bottle purchase made the night of the event.

This is a seated tasting experience that starts at 5 pm, please arrive no later than 5:15 pm.
